READER'S RESPONSE SAMPLE QUESTIONS
http://www.mrsjudyaraujo.com/open-ended-questions/
Stopping and jotting is good practice when reading for a purpose. When a Reader's Response is assigned, stopping and jotting for the purpose of that question is a good idea to help respond to that question. However, once that response has been written, it is also a good idea to read for the sheer pleasure of it. I am trying to work on the concept of when to stop and jot for a purpose and when to get sucked in to a book.
